Olli-Pekka Angeria and Mikael Sonck have been working on bridge renovations together for five years already.

Mikael Sonck has learned from his supervisor Olli-Pekka Angeria not to panic in case of problems.

“Whatever the trouble is at the site, Olli-Pekka never panics. Instead, he starts to think about how to resolve the situation together,” Sonck says.

Lots of bridge renovations have been ordered in recent years, which has brought the company more work, but, at the same time, the clients have learned to prepare tight schedules. Angeria is not worried, however, as he has four good foremen in his team.

Olli-Pekka Angeria and Mikael Sonck have been working on bridge renovations together for five years already.

“Our first common project was at the Urheilukatu in Lohja in my first summer on the job. I learn a lot by just observing Olli-Pekka. He also gave me lots of responsibility right from the start,” says Mikael Sonck.

The pair has found a clear division of work during the five years. As the Project Manager, Angeria makes visits to sites, where the foreman is responsible for the fluency of daily work. Olli-Pekka Angeria finds that this is a particular strength of Mikael Sonck’s.

“Even if Miksu has been working until late at night, he’s back in the morning with a smile on his face,” he says.
