Charging solution enables electric taxi services at Helsinki Airport
Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly important in commercial transport, which requires efficient and reliable charging systems in key locations. In December 2022, we implemented an electric car charging solution for taxi company Menevä Oy near Helsinki Airport.
Enabling easy charging in the immediate vicinity of the airport was important for Menevä. Electric cars are charged around the clock, and due to the hectic pace of work, charging needs to be efficient and smooth. Menevä is a pioneer in the electrification of taxi transport and offers its customers the choice of a zero-emission mode of transport.
In our overall delivery, we implemented the charging solution on a turnkey basis. The charging solution included the delivery and installation of a Kempower 600 kW charger, which included eight charging connectors. The maximum charging capacity of the chargers is 150 kilowatts.
