A counting system provides important information on traffic

Traffic counts are an important part of traffic planning and management. They provide road managers, transport planners and policy makers with valuable information on the current state of transport and future needs. Accurate and up-to-date data collection requires high-quality equipment.

Since 2021, we have been responsible for the maintenance and procurement of equipment related to traffic measurement services in western and southern Finland. The contract includes annual and fault maintenance, servicing and installation of the traffic measuring stations.

The contract area is extensive, with measuring equipment in Southwest Finland, Satakunta, Pirkanmaa, Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme. Distances are long and the servicing and maintenance of almost 260 units requires extensive equipment and maintenance expertise.
