Destia Rail Oy merges into Destia Oy
Destia Rail Oy, which has been carrying out Destia’s rail business since 2010, will merge into Destia Oy on April 30, 2025. The merger simplifies Destia’s reporting structure and has mainly legal and financial technical effects, such as changes in billing information. Approximately 440 employees of Destia Rail Oy will transfer to Destia Oy as existing employees.
As a result of the change in company structure, Destia Rail Oy will no longer act as the data controller for personal data, and from April 30, 2025, the data controller will be Destia Oy. The change does not affect the rights and obligations that Destia has under the law as a data controller or processor.
