Destia builds energy, telecommunications and telematics solutions throughout Finland. Its strengths are broad expertise, high-quality work and effective cooperation and subcontractor networks. Destia also has extensive expertise in the design and implementation of renovation projects.

In investment or line construction projects, Destia can take responsibility for parts of the project or implement the whole project on the turnkey principle. When Destia implements the whole project, the project can be kept simple and the customer can assign its resources to other tasks and improve efficiency.

Destia implements the following tasks connected with electricity distribution networks, lighting and telematics, and district heating and natural gas networks:

  • design and construction of distribution networks (20 kV) and transmission lines (110 kV)
  • power line renovations, such as overhead earth wire replacements

Lighting and telematics

  • work included in road lighting maintenance and service agreements

  • construction of traffic light signalling systems
  • construction of automatic speed control equipment

District heating and natural gas networks

  • construction of district heating transmission lines
