Kansalaistori, Makasiinipuisto and Töölönlahdenkatu, Helsinki
This project started in 2018 and was completed in 2019. The project was implemented in a challenging urban environment in downtown Helsinki and the customer was the City of Helsinki. The start of the project was delayed by 2 months but the project was finished according to the original schedule. In line with the shared goal of the customer and the contractor, the Kansalaistori square and Töölönlahdenkatu were completed for the opening of the central library, Oodi.
The project included the construction of the new Kansalaistori square area, new surface structures, such as granite paving, and new municipal engineering and pedestrian and bicycle lanes with paving and lightning in Töölönlahdenkatu. A 60 m3 main distribution board and lightning were constructed and a new park area was built in Makasiinipuisto with features such as an artificial grass field.
