Technical and Economic Studies, Engineering Design, Road Safety as well as environmental and social aspects are high priority issues for Destia Finnroad.

Environmental services

Our environmental services cover environmental planning with environmental surveys (e.g. noise surveys), environmental impact assessments (EIA) according to the guidelines of major international financing institutions (WB, ADB, EBRD etc.), landscape architecture planning as well as environmental restoration designing.

Infrastructure production chains affect the environment through, for example, energy consumption and the use of soil and mineral aggregates. We proactively seek to reduce both the direct and indirect environmental impact of customers’ and our own operations.

Traffic safety

Destia Finnroad has several internationally recognized traffic safety experts. Our traffic safety services are based on interactivity and we are able to provide full coverage of traffic safety services, e.g. iLiitu –service and road safety audits of existing roads and design schemes.

We are also experienced to manage the promotion of the bicycle and pedestrian traffic, create bicycle and pedestrian maps and promote traffic safety campaigns. Traffic safety improvement design for special objects as well as impartiality design is our daily work. We also create intelligent safety solutions for existing unsafe environments.
