Road asset management system (RAMS)

Destia Finnroad is able to provide a total infrastructure asset management package and services for the client, including analysing existing structures, both roads and bridges, and their condition, preparing strategic maintenance and investment programs for the life-cycle of the area and programming maintenance works.

Destia Finnroad also actively uses the latest Geographic Information System (GIS) applications and Road Asset Managements Systems (RAMS) to serve as a platform for all planning and tailoring such systems for the customers’ special needs.

The objective of RAMS is to ensure the effective use of rehabilitated national and provincial road network in support of the economic development in projects countries. It will do so by improving the institutional and technical capacity of the clients for road maintenance planning, budgeting and operations, and by expanding and strengthening maintenance activities.
